Kuwait City – Kuwait Airways and Kuwait Telecommunications Company (STC) have signed a cooperation protocol to expand collaboration across telecommunications, aviation, and technology, marking a step toward deeper integration between two of Kuwait’s vital sectors.
Kuwait Airways Chairman Abdulmohsen Al-Fagaan said the agreement reflects the national carrier’s role in building strategic partnerships with both public and private institutions to support the national economy. He emphasized that the protocol will open “new horizons” in technology, air transport, telecommunications, information technology, and artificial intelligence.
STC Executive Chairman Moataz Al-Dharrab hailed the protocol as a significant move to promote Kuwait’s digital transformation, noting that the partnership reflects STC’s vision of “building bridges of communication among various vital sectors.” He added that by combining expertise, both companies will explore and apply advanced technologies to benefit the aviation and telecommunications industries alike.
The partnership underscores Kuwait’s drive to harness innovation, digital solutions, and cross-sector collaboration in line with its long-term economic and technological goals.
