du and Abu Dhabi Business Women Council Partner to Empower Women Entrepreneurs

du, the UAE’s leading telecom and digital services provider, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Abu Dhabi Business Women Council (ADBWC) at the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce, marking a major step toward supporting women-led businesses and fostering inclusive economic growth.

Through this collaboration, women entrepreneurs under ADBWC will gain access to du’s advanced telecommunications solutions, including mobile, fixed, and office wireless services. The initiative is designed to remove technological barriers, enhance operational capacity, and provide SMEs with the tools to compete more effectively in a digital-first economy.

Noora Al Tamimi, Board Member of ADBWC, said: “Our strategic partnership with du equips women-led businesses with the tools and technologies they need to thrive in an increasingly digital economy. This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to placing women at the forefront of innovation and sustainable growth.”

Fahad Al Hassawi, CEO of du, added: “This partnership recognises the vital role women entrepreneurs play in our economy and society. By unlocking opportunities for innovation and growth, we aim to create sustainable business prospects and ensure women entrepreneurs can compete on a global scale.”

The agreement also marks du’s first venture into the SME segment in Abu Dhabi, reinforcing its role in enabling digital transformation and advancing the UAE’s broader economic diversification goals.
