Kuwait Airways Signs Digital Transformation Agreement with Impulse International

KUWAIT — Kuwait Airways has taken a major step forward in its digital transformation journey by signing a Master Services Agreement (MSA) with Impulse International for Telecommunications, establishing a strategic framework for deploying advanced IT solutions, cloud infrastructure, and modern applications.

The agreement, signed in the presence of Kuwait Airways Chairman Captain Abdulmohsen Al-Fagaan and Impulse Vice Chairman and CEO Eng. Izzat Abou Amarah, sets the operational and commercial terms through which the national carrier will procure and implement cutting-edge technologies. The move supports Kuwait Airways’ broader digital transformation strategy, aligning with Kuwait Vision 2035.

Captain Al-Fagaan emphasized that the partnership will allow Kuwait Airways to adopt scalable cloud computing, analytics, and application modernization tools that enhance operational agility and customer experience. He noted that Impulse, an authorized Google Cloud distributor under the Alliance Framework Agreement (AFA), will provide comprehensive support throughout the carrier’s cloud journey — from design and implementation to optimization and compliance.

He reaffirmed the airline’s commitment to leveraging advanced technology to deliver a superior travel experience, highlighting Kuwait Airways’ dedication to safety, efficiency, and service quality as it works to become the preferred carrier of choice.

Impulse CEO Abou Amarah underscored the importance of the agreement, stating it reflects Impulse’s mission to accelerate digital transformation in Kuwait, expand cloud adoption, and enable organizations to thrive in the evolving digital economy.

Kuwait Airways, established in 1954, currently operates a modern fleet of Airbus and Boeing aircraft. Impulse International, founded in 2012 by the Kuwait Investment Authority’s subsidiary National Technology Enterprises Company, specializes in ICT services across infrastructure, cloud computing, enterprise automation, and IoT.
