Es’hailSat, the Qatar Satellite Company, recently visited Algérie Télécom Satellite (ATS) to explore potential collaboration opportunities aimed at enhancing Algeria’s telecommunications network through satellite technology. The discussions focused on how Es’hailSat’s extensive experience in providing satellite, broadcast, teleport, and managed services across the Middle East and North Africa could support ATS in advancing Algeria’s telecom infrastructure.

Es’hailSat operates from Doha, Qatar, and leverages over 12 years of expertise in serving governments, broadcasters, telecom companies, enterprises, and mobility applications. With two satellites positioned at 25.5/26 East and a 50,000 sqm teleport facility, Es’hailSat offers reliable and robust connectivity services.

Algérie Télécom Satellite (ATS), established on July 29, 2006, is a subsidiary of Télécom Algeria GTA Group, focused on promoting and advancing satellite telecommunications. ATS plays a critical role in modernizing and expanding Algeria’s communication infrastructure as part of the country’s broader economic and social development strategy.

Mr. Ali Ahmed Al-Kuwari, President and CEO of Es’hailSat, expressed enthusiasm for the potential collaboration, stating, “We are delighted to work with Algeria Telecom Satellite to support various telecom initiatives via our satellite infrastructure. Our experience in providing satellite services to premier broadcasters, governments, and enterprises across the Middle East and North Africa aligns perfectly with ATS’s approach to continuously improving Algeria’s telecommunication technology sector.”
