Turkcell’s digital content platform TV+ has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Samsung Turkey, expanding their strategic partnership to bring TV+ directly to Samsung’s smart TVs and smart monitors. The integration will allow users to access the TV+ app seamlessly through Samsung’s Tizen OS platform.
As part of the agreement, both existing and new Samsung customers will be eligible for free TV+ subscriptions of up to 12 months, depending on campaign terms and conditions. The move is aimed at enhancing accessibility to Turkcell’s wide-ranging digital content library, which includes over 150 live channels alongside documentaries, sports, movies, and award-winning series.
Dr. Ali Taha Koç, General Manager of Turkcell, highlighted the partnership as a significant step toward enriching the viewing experience for users of all ages. “With TV+, we provide a broad and rich content library. Integrating our app into Samsung smart TVs and smart monitors makes it even easier for viewers to enjoy high-quality entertainment,” he said.
Jeff Jo, Country President and CEO of Samsung Turkey, emphasized the importance of this collaboration in shaping home entertainment. “TVs are no longer just screens; they connect with devices in the home and enrich daily life. With TV+, users will enjoy their favorite content in 4K resolution and crystal-clear clarity on Samsung smart TVs and monitors,” he noted. The announcement was made during IFA 2025, underscoring Samsung’s vision of turning TVs into multi-functional lifestyle hubs.
This strategic partnership positions both Turkcell and Samsung to deliver a more immersive, content-rich experience, reinforcing the trend of converging digital services with next-generation home entertainment technologies.
