Vodafone Qatar has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Khwarizmi Artificial Intelligence Center (KAIC) in Doha to accelerate the adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) across Qatar. The agreement was formalized by Mohamed Mohsin Alyafei, Enterprise Business Unit Director at Vodafone Qatar, and Firas Sleiman, Founder of KAIC.
The partnership will focus on developing disruptive AI-powered solutions that enhance user experiences, improve customer satisfaction, and drive operational agility. These innovations will target both telecom and enterprise sectors, introducing advanced digital services tailored to Qatar’s rapidly evolving business and technology landscape.
Industry experts note that such collaborations between telecom providers and AI institutions help bridge the gap between research and real-world application, ensuring that advanced technologies translate into tangible benefits for businesses and consumers.
Vodafone Qatar said the initiative is aligned with the country’s digital transformation agenda and supports its ambition to become a regional hub for innovation and technology-driven growth. Both organizations emphasized their commitment to advancing AI capabilities and delivering smarter, more efficient, and customer-centric services.
