Royal Air Maroc (RAM), official global partner of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (CAN), has introduced new entry requirements for visitors traveling to Morocco during the tournament. The airline confirmed that travelers from select countries must now obtain an electronic travel authorization (AEVM) before departure.
The e-visa requirement will apply from September 25, 2025, to January 25, 2026, covering the entire tournament period. Travelers from Algeria, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, Gabon, Niger, Senegal, Togo, and Tunisia—countries normally exempt from visa requirements—are included in this temporary regulation. The AEVM must be presented at both departure and arrival.
For football fans attending CAN 2025 matches, applications are to be submitted via the “YALLA” mobile app developed by the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF). For other purposes such as tourism, business, or family visits, travelers must apply through the official portal: http://acces-maroc.ma.
The 2025 Africa Cup of Nations will bring together 24 national teams competing across nine stadiums in six host cities: Rabat, Casablanca, Fès, Tanger, Marrakech, and Agadir. The new system aims to streamline travel flows, enhance security, and ensure smooth entry processes during Africa’s biggest football event.
