Microsoft has unveiled its vision for the next frontier of artificial intelligence — Agentic AI — at GITEX Global 2025 in Dubai. Teaming up with 37 partners, the company is showcasing how autonomous AI systems can plan, reason, and act independently to help organizations and governments make faster, smarter, and more ethical decisions.
At the event, Microsoft is demonstrating how teams of AI assistants can synthesize complex data and provide real-time insights to government leaders, improving policy decisions and enhancing public services. The company’s exhibit includes an “AI Experience Zone” featuring interactive demonstrations of Copilot and AI Agents, alongside partner showcases, live demos, and creative activations such as the Xbox Zone and Glambot experience.
Amr Kamel, General Manager of Microsoft UAE, said that Agentic AI marks a new era of digital transformation, empowering organizations to move from insights to autonomous action. He emphasized that innovation must evolve responsibly — rooted in trust, privacy, and security — to ensure progress benefits all.
With datacenters in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, Microsoft continues to support the UAE’s AI vision through secure, enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure and responsible AI frameworks developed with partners such as G42. Its efforts align with national initiatives like the AI National Skills Program, aimed at training over a million citizens and professionals.
