Tencent Cloud Strengthens Middle East Presence with AI Innovations and Web3 Partnerships at GITEX 2025

Dubai, UAE — Tencent Cloud, the cloud division of global technology leader Tencent, has expanded its Middle East digital ecosystem with the signing of strategic partnerships with Tawasal and Klickl during GITEX Global 2025. The collaborations mark key milestones in advancing AI-driven digital transformation and Web3 infrastructure development across the UAE.

Returning to GITEX for the fourth consecutive year, Tencent Cloud showcased a suite of cutting-edge AI and cloud solutions designed to power super apps, financial innovation, and immersive digital experiences across the Middle East and Africa (MEA).

Elevating Tawasal SuperApp with AI-Powered Mini Games

Tencent Cloud’s partnership with Tawasal Information Technology, a UAE-based digital lifestyle company, will enhance the Tawasal SuperApp by integrating localized mini games built on Tencent’s gaming and cloud technologies.
The SuperApp — already offering secure messaging, HD calls, AI-powered features, and lifestyle services — will now deliver interactive entertainment experiences that boost engagement and personalization for users across the MENA region.
Tawasal Managing Director Louis Couriol said the collaboration “brings together global expertise and deployable solutions that elevate the SuperApp experience while reinforcing our commitment to innovation and user satisfaction.”

Building Klickl’s Web3 Financial Infrastructure

Tencent Cloud also announced a partnership with Klickl, a UAE-regulated Web3 financial infrastructure firm. The collaboration integrates Tencent Cloud’s mini program and AI capabilities with Klickl’s open-finance ecosystem to enable compliant digital wallets and cross-border payments within emerging Web3 super apps.
Michael Zhao, Founder and CEO of Klickl, noted, “This initiative creates real-world use cases where compliance meets innovation, taking Web3 from concept to everyday experience.”

Showcasing AI and Cloud Innovations

At GITEX, Tencent Cloud unveiled several AI-powered products including Super App as a Service (TCSAS), EdgeOne for low-latency content delivery, the Tencent Cloud Agent Development Platform (TCADP) for enterprise AI agents, and CodeBuddy, an AI coding assistant. These tools aim to accelerate R&D, boost performance, and protect data integrity while enabling businesses to scale seamlessly across digital ecosystems.

Dan Hu, Vice President of Tencent Cloud International for the Middle East and Africa, said, “Our focus is on aligning AI, cloud, and Web3 solutions with the region’s digital transformation vision. These partnerships underscore our commitment to empowering enterprises and elevating consumer experiences in the UAE and beyond.”

With this dual-track strategy of technological innovation and strategic collaboration, Tencent Cloud continues to cement its position as a driving force in the AI, cloud, and Web3 evolution of the Middle East.
