Dubai, UAE — Global technology group e& has signed a series of strategic agreements with Ericsson at GITEX Global 2025 to modernize its core network and OSS/BSS architecture in the United Arab Emirates using cloud-native technologies. The initiative marks a pivotal step in e&’s long-term digital transformation strategy, aligning with the UAE’s national vision for a hyperconnected, intelligent economy.
The collaboration will enable e& UAE—the group’s flagship telecom arm—to deploy advanced cloud-native products from Ericsson’s Cloud Software and Services portfolio, including Ericsson Charging, Cloud Core Policy Controller (CCPC), Ericsson Signaling Controller, Dynamic Activation, and Ericsson Mediation. These solutions will be supported by Ericsson’s Cloud Native Infrastructure Solution (CNIS), creating a robust foundation for next-generation connectivity.
Driving 5G, AI, and Cloud Innovation
The transformation will build a smarter, more responsive digital backbone capable of real-time adaptability, network automation, and personalized customer experiences. It will also accelerate 5G Standalone deployment, enabling e& UAE to launch differentiated service plans, automate large-scale activations, and optimize monetization of emerging technologies such as AI, IoT, and cloud-based enterprise solutions.
