Bahrain Post Launches Mobile Postal Services to Expand Nationwide Access

Bahrain Post has officially launched its mobile postal services, marking a new phase in the modernization and expansion of postal operations across the Kingdom.

According to Dr. Khalid Al Haidan, Under-Secretary for Postal Affairs at the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications, the initiative represents an innovative step toward improving accessibility and convenience for citizens and residents in all governorates.

The new mobile postal units are designed to bring essential services directly to communities, including mail delivery, parcel handling, bill payments, and other postal transactions, eliminating the need for customers to travel to fixed post office locations.

Dr. Al Haidan emphasized that the initiative aligns with Bahrain’s ongoing digital transformation and service enhancement goals, ensuring that postal services remain efficient, inclusive, and responsive to the evolving needs of the public.

The mobile service is expected to strengthen connectivity across urban and rural areas alike, supporting both individuals and businesses while reinforcing Bahrain Post’s commitment to customer-centric innovation.
