Bahrain Post has rolled out its mobile postal services, an innovative initiative designed to expand access and modernize postal delivery across the kingdom’s governorates. The project aims to make postal services more convenient for citizens and residents by eliminating the need to visit traditional post offices.
According to Dr. Khalid Al Haidan, Under-Secretary for Postal Affairs at the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications, the initiative features fully equipped mobile vehicles that will deliver a range of postal services directly to customers. Operating daily from Saturday to Thursday, between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., these units will serve multiple locations across Bahrain.
Customers can book appointments through the Customer Contact Centre (80001100), email (en*****@*****ov.bh), the official Bahrain Post website (www.bahrainpost.gov.bh), or via WhatsApp (17341022). Bookings must be made at least 24 hours in advance, and confirmations will be provided through follow-up calls from Bahrain Post staff.
Dr. Al Haidan highlighted that the mobile postal service is part of a comprehensive modernization strategy focused on improving customer satisfaction, supporting digital transformation, and enhancing service quality. The initiative, he said, reflects the ministry’s commitment to aligning Bahrain’s postal sector with global standards and technological advancements.
