Microsoft has announced the availability of its new Surface Pro and Surface Laptop in the UAE, designed to enhance user experiences and accelerate AI transformation. These devices are part of the new Copilot+ PCs category, the fastest and most intelligent Windows PCs ever built, featuring powerful new silicon capable of 40+ trillion operations per second (TOPS), all-day battery life, and advanced AI models.
The Copilot+ PCs come with innovative features such as Recall, which allows users to instantly find anything on their PC; Cocreator, for generating and refining AI images in real time; and Live Captions, which can translate any live or pre-recorded video from 44 languages, including Arabic, into English.
Adam Labancz, Surface Category Manager at Microsoft UAE, highlighted that these devices are designed for students, professionals, and enthusiasts looking to enhance productivity through AI-powered experiences. He noted the incredible pace of AI transformation and introduced the new Copilot+ PCs as a continuation of this innovation.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 11th Edition Copilot+ PC is tailored for on-the-go users, offering lightning-fast performance, AI-accelerated power, and an optional OLED display. It is powered by the new Snapdragon X Elite and Snapdragon X Plus processors, delivering 90% faster performance than its predecessor. The device supports fast connectivity with Wi-Fi 7 and can connect up to three 4k monitors, with a battery life of up to 14 hours.
Similarly, the Microsoft Surface Laptop 7th Edition Copilot+ PC is designed to accelerate innovation and drive business impact with its AI capabilities and Copilot experiences. It has been completely redesigned, featuring brighter displays with thin bezels, more ports, faster Wi-Fi 7 connectivity, and up to 22 hours of battery life. The laptop is available in two sizes: a 13.8-inch compact design and a 15-inch display for expanded visuals.
Both devices are secure by default, with Microsoft’s Secured-core PC technology providing advanced security layers, including the Microsoft Pluton security processor, which safeguards credentials, identities, and encryption keys. These devices also feature Windows Hello Enhanced Sign-in Security (ESS) for more secure biometric sign-ins, eliminating the need for passwords.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 11th Edition Copilot+ PC and Surface Laptop 7th Edition Copilot+ PC will be available in the UAE from August 27.
