CIB, talabat, and Mastercard Unveil Co-Branded Credit Card to Accelerate Digital Payment Adoption in Egypt

Cairo, October 28, 2025 — Commercial International Bank (CIB), Egypt’s largest private sector bank, has partnered with talabat and Mastercard to launch a new co-branded credit card designed for Egypt’s digital-first consumers. The initiative aims to support Egypt’s transition to a cashless economy in line with Egypt Vision 2030, promoting secure, convenient, and rewarding digital payments.

Tailored for online food and grocery purchases, the CIB talabat Mastercard Credit Card offers monthly cashback of up to EGP 1,200, a one-time welcome bonus of up to EGP 2,000, and no delivery fees from selected vendors, alongside exclusive in-app discounts. Cardholders also earn 1% cashback on all other purchases, complemented by Mastercard Platinum benefits, providing value both within and beyond the talabat ecosystem.
