UAE Partners with OpenAI to Launch Arabic AI Leadership Guide

Abu Dhabi — The UAE Office for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications has partnered with OpenAI to launch the AI Leadership Guide in Arabic, a pioneering initiative designed to empower leaders with the knowledge and frameworks needed to drive responsible and effective AI adoption across key sectors.

The guide reflects the UAE’s commitment to advancing national strategies in artificial intelligence and digital transformation, reinforcing the country’s position as a global hub for innovation, governance, and advanced technology.

According to the Emirates News Agency (WAM), the AI Leadership Guide serves as a strategic resource for policymakers and institutional leaders, offering actionable insights to shape policies, strengthen governance, and foster the ethical and sustainable use of AI.

Saqr Binghalib, Executive Director of the UAE AI Office, said that developing AI leadership capabilities has become a national priority given the pace of technological adoption:

“Artificial intelligence is the language of the future. Governments that invest early in AI adoption will lead the global landscape in the decades ahead.”

Five Core Principles of AI Leadership

The guide is structured around five foundational principles for steering AI transformation:

  1. Align — Define clear, measurable goals that link AI adoption to institutional and national priorities.
  2. Activate — Build the technical and human infrastructure through targeted investments in training, technology, and innovation.
  3. Amplify — Foster innovation hubs and knowledge communities to share insights and scale impactful solutions.
  4. Accelerate — Ensure faster access to data, tools, and partnerships that drive agile and cost-efficient AI initiatives.
