Organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretariat, and the European Union, in collaboration with the Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA), the high-profile event took place at the Sheikh Abdullah Al-Salem Cultural Center. It convened senior officials, including GCC Secretary-General Jasem Al-Budaiwi, EU Commissioner for Trade and Economic Security Maros Sefcovic, and KDIPA Director-General Sheikh Dr. Meshaal Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.
Representing Zain were Hamad Al-Marzouq (Chief Enterprise Business Officer), Meshal Al-Kandari (Chief Commercial Officer), Malek Jaber Al-Sabah (Chief Legal & Regulatory Officer), and Waleed Al-Khashti (Chief Corporate Affairs and Relations Officer).
Through this partnership, Zain continues to advance Kuwait’s ambition to become a regional economic hub built on innovation, digital infrastructure, and sustainable growth. The company emphasized its mission to foster a knowledge-based economy, attract high-quality investments, and empower national talent through entrepreneurship, digital skills training, and startup enablement.
At its exhibition booth, Zain showcased its 4WARD strategy – Progress with Purpose, which aims to position Zain Group as the largest TechCo conglomerate in the Middle East and Africa, driving its vision of “Better Lives, Lasting Connections.” The company’s Enterprise Business team also engaged with GCC and EU representatives to explore collaborative opportunities in emerging technologies, digital transformation, and public-private partnerships.
Held under the theme “Together for Shared Prosperity,” the forum featured high-level discussions on AI, digital transformation, skills development, trade, and investment, as well as new collaboration prospects in healthcare, education, tourism, and the creative industries.
Zain reaffirmed that investing in people and innovation remains at the core of Kuwait’s digital future — a strategy that aligns with the country’s national vision to establish itself as a regional center for technology, talent, and sustainable growth.
