STC Group Signs Five-Year Master Frame Agreement with Ericsson to Advance Saudi Arabia’s Digital Infrastructure

STC Group has signed a new five-year Master Frame Agreement with Ericsson to accelerate the deployment of advanced digital infrastructure and strengthen technology adoption across Saudi Arabia. The agreement covers a broad portfolio including 5G hardware and software, cloud-native platforms, AI-driven managed services, and comprehensive network and infrastructure support.

Under the agreement, STC Group will expand its 5G footprint and fast-track the rollout of advanced technologies such as 5G Standalone, 5G Advanced, Massive MIMO, Ericsson Radio System products, and modern network management solutions. The partnership builds on a long-standing collaboration between the two companies, which includes the deployment of one of the Kingdom’s first 5G networks in 2019.

STC Group stated that the agreement reinforces its commitment to digital transformation, enterprise innovation, and building a globally competitive digital economy aligned with Saudi Arabia’s national objectives. Ericsson highlighted its continued collaboration with STC to deliver resilient, scalable digital infrastructure that supports innovation, economic competitiveness, and national development priorities.

The expanded scope also includes Ericsson’s managed services to optimize network performance and efficiency. By enabling capabilities such as network slicing and advanced mobile architectures, STC Group aims to support a wide range of consumer and enterprise use cases while strengthening digital inclusion and future network readiness across the Kingdom.
