Qatari billionaire Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim invests in Germany’s Neura Robotics

Qatari billionaire and former Prime Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jaber Al Thani has invested in German robotics startup Neura Robotics, joining a major funding round that raised approximately €1 billion ($1.2 billion).

The investment was made through his Luxembourg-based holding entity, Prime Capital SA, which manages a diversified international portfolio spanning real estate and banking. The funding round also attracted participation from global players including Amazon and was led by Tether Holdings.

Neura Robotics specializes in cognitive robotics, developing advanced machines capable of interacting intelligently with humans and environments. The company has been gaining attention for its innovations in next-generation robotics, including humanoid systems showcased at global exhibitions.

The investment reflects growing global interest in AI-driven robotics and highlights increasing participation from Middle Eastern capital in deep-tech sectors across Europe.

With this funding, Neura Robotics is expected to accelerate product development and scale its presence in key industries such as manufacturing, healthcare, and automation.
