Saudi Edtech Platform GAGA Raises USD 2.5M to Expand Live Learning Model

Riyadh, March 25, 2026 — Saudi-based edtech startup GAGA has raised $2.5 million in a Pre-Series A funding round led by Phoenix Venture Partners, bringing its total funding to $4.2 million.

The platform focuses on live, interactive online education for students aged 4 to 18, offering more than 1,000 programs across 200+ academic and skill-based subjects. Unlike traditional recorded content platforms, GAGA emphasizes real-time teacher-student engagement to improve learning outcomes.

The new funding will be used to expand GAGA’s teacher network, enhance its technology infrastructure, and scale its reach across Saudi Arabia. A key priority is the development of AI-powered tools that personalize learning by identifying student performance gaps and tailoring educational pathways accordingly.

Positioned as an alternative to private tutoring, GAGA combines gamified learning with localized Arabic-language content aligned with regional curricula, addressing growing demand for culturally relevant digital education solutions.

The investment reflects increasing momentum in Saudi Arabia’s edtech sector, as startups leverage technology and AI to transform learning experiences and expand access to quality education.
