The SAMENA Telecommunications Council has confirmed that its Leaders’ Summit 2026 will take place on April 1 at Atlantis The Palm, Dubai, under the patronage of TDRA and in collaboration with Huawei.
Positioned as the first major regional leadership dialogue after Eid al-Fitr, the summit aims to align policymakers, operators, and technology stakeholders on key priorities such as digital infrastructure resilience, investment continuity, and coordinated development across the ICT ecosystem.
The 2026 agenda, themed “Intelligent Networks for Sovereign & Sustainable Futures,” will focus on critical areas including 6 GHz spectrum policy, AI deployment at scale, telecom business transformation, and hybrid connectivity models integrating terrestrial and non-terrestrial networks.
Additional discussions will address infrastructure protection, space sustainability, and global investment dynamics, reflecting the increasing interdependence of cloud, data centres, and satellite systems. The summit will bring together stakeholders from across the Middle East, Africa, Central Asia, and South Asia to drive policy alignment and ecosystem collaboration.
The event underscores the region’s commitment to maintaining coordinated digital growth, strengthening market confidence, and ensuring long-term resilience in an evolving global technology landscape.
