Presight, a leading regional data analytics and AI firm, has announced a strategic partnership and investment in NodeShift, a sovereign AI specialist that emerged from Presight’s inaugural AI Accelerator Program. The collaboration includes a significant investment from the Presight–Shorooq Fund I, a $100 million venture capital vehicle dedicated to next-generation AI innovation. This funding follows a rigorous six-month evaluation of NodeShift’s technological readiness, regulatory compliance, and market scalability, signaling strong confidence in the startup’s ability to provide secure, governed AI infrastructure for high-stakes environments.
The partnership aims to combine Presight’s global commercial reach and government relationships with NodeShift’s secure generative AI platform. NodeShift allows organizations to utilize both open-source and commercial AI models through a single, governed interface that can be deployed on-premises or in air-gapped environments. This ensures that sensitive data remains within the organization’s control, bolstered by built-in security guardrails and policy enforcement. The platform currently supports AI assistants and document intelligence tools in both Arabic and English, making it a critical asset for the Middle East’s digital transformation.
Since joining the accelerator program, NodeShift has already begun delivering a proof of concept for the Central Bank of the UAE and is in active discussions with other major entities in regulated sectors. Leadership from both companies emphasized that this alliance is designed to meet the rising global demand for “sovereign AI”—technology that prioritizes data privacy and national regulatory requirements without sacrificing the power of modern generative models. By aligning their market execution strategies, Presight and NodeShift are positioned to accelerate the deployment of mission-critical AI across international geographies.
