Telecom Italia’s international operator Sparkle has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Jordan-based Naitel and iLevant to develop a new digital corridor connecting Europe and Asia, strengthening international connectivity through the Middle East and supporting the growing demand for resilient global digital infrastructure.
The partnership aims to establish a new high-capacity terrestrial and subsea connectivity route that will enhance international data traffic between Europe, the Middle East and Asia. The proposed corridor is expected to provide greater network diversity, improved resilience and lower latency for telecommunications operators, cloud providers, enterprises and hyperscale digital platforms.
