APNIC to Launch Networking Training Program for Telecom Operators in Pakistan

The Asia Pacific Network Information Center (APNIC) has announced plans to initiate a training program focused on networking for telecom operators in Pakistan. This announcement was made during a meeting between the CEO of APNIC and the Minister of State for IT and Telecommunication, Shaza Fatima Khawaja.

During the meeting, discussions were held on matters of mutual interest, particularly concerning the capacity building of telecom operators. Secretary of IT Zarrar Hasham Khan was also present, where the CEO of APNIC provided insights into the organization’s operations.

Minister of State for IT emphasized the importance of technical training for enhancing the capabilities of telecom operators. The meeting resulted in an agreement to develop a comprehensive training plan for these operators.

Additionally, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Germany, Saqlain Syedah, met with the Minister of State for IT and Telecommunication to discuss the relationship between Pakistan and Germany in the fields of IT and telecommunications, as well as the facilitation of Pakistani IT companies in Germany. The meeting also included Member International Coordination (IC) Imad Memon and DG IC Syed Jawwad Ali Sherazi.
