The Saudi Music Commission has unveiled MusiqAI, an innovative interactive digital platform designed to teach music to enthusiasts at all levels, from beginners to advanced players. This is the first self-learning music platform in Saudi Arabia and the Arab region, offering courses to help users master both Arabic and Western instruments.
The name MusiqAI, which incorporates “AI” for artificial intelligence, translates to “My Music” in Arabic, reflecting the platform’s mission to make music education accessible to a wide audience. MusiqAI provides online courses, self-paced learning, and accredited certifications, allowing users to learn and practice at their convenience, anytime and anywhere.
The platform features programs for learning a variety of instruments, such as the drums, guitar, and oud, offering tailored courses in both Arabic and Western music. It also enables users to communicate directly with trainers and music experts, enhancing the learning experience.
MusiqAI is part of the Saudi Music Commission’s broader efforts to nurture and support musical talent in alignment with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, which aims to cultivate the arts and cultural heritage. In addition to MusiqAI, the commission launched the Saudi Music Memory initiative in March, a project designed to preserve and document the history of Saudi music for future generations.
