Manama, Bahrain – Batelco, a part of the Beyon Group, is set to build Bahrain’s first-ever White Space Data Center. The new facility will be located within the Beyon Data Oasis and will prioritize sustainability and innovation by utilizing renewable energy from a nearby solar farm.
Batelco has partnered with Almoayyed Contracting Group for the construction of the data center. The facility is designed to cater to a wide range of clients, including cloud providers, AI-driven platforms, content delivery networks, and global submarine cable systems.
“We are excited to partner with Almoayyed Contracting Group for the construction of our new White Space Data Center at the Beyon Data Oasis,” said Hani Askar, Batelco’s Chief Global Business Officer.
The data center will feature a modular design, providing a flexible and scalable infrastructure to meet the evolving needs of its clients. It will also be the largest and most power-dense data center in Bahrain, ensuring high availability, redundancy, and industry-leading energy efficiency.
