Algeria will host Global Africa Tech 2026 in Algiers from March 28–30 under President Tebboune’s patronage. The event will gather global policymakers and tech leaders to discuss fiber expansion, satellite connectivity, submarine cable protection, and smart ports, reinforcing Algeria’s push to become a regional digital infrastructure hub.
The ministry stated that the event is expected to attract thousands of professionals, experts, and representatives from technology institutions and companies. It aims to advance a digitally unified Africa by integrating terrestrial, satellite, and sub-sea networks, and by promoting the development of a modern, secure, and sustainable telecommunications ecosystem.
