Hans Wijayasuriya Resigns from Axiata to Lead Digital Economy Initiatives in Sri Lanka
Hans Wijayasuriya has resigned as Axiata Group’s executive director and CEO to become chief adviser on digital economy initiatives for the Sri Lankan government, effective January 15, 2025. He praised Axiata’s contributions to digitalization while expressing gratitude for his 30-year association with the company.
