Saudi Arabia announced the “Riyadh Declaration” at the 19th Internet Governance Forum, promoting AI to enhance digital access, literacy, and global economic value. The Kingdom aims to lead AI transformation through its Vision 2030 while addressing key challenges like unequal access to algorithms and prioritizing responsible data practices for societal benefit.
Saudi Arabia will host the 19th edition of the UN Internet Governance Forum in Riyadh from December 15-19, 2024. The forum will bring together over 10,000 participants to discuss internet policies, digital governance, and emerging challenges. The event will feature 300 sessions focused on fostering global digital cooperation.
