The Kazakh delegation, led by ministers from Kazakhstan, held discussions with Jordanian institutions on collaboration in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, space technologies, and UAV solutions, emphasizing bilateral cooperation to boost economic and technological growth.
Amazon Kuiper has partnered with Kazakhstan’s Samruk-Kazyna to provide satellite internet services to remote regions of the country. This collaboration aims to improve broadband connectivity in underserved areas through satellite technology, enhancing access to the internet and supporting global efforts for digital inclusion.
Kazakhstan’s Astana Hub, home to 1,600 IT companies, is making global strides with projects like the Alaqan palm print recognition system, Higgsfield AI, and Codiplay. These initiatives, along with others, are being exported internationally, showcasing Kazakhstan’s growing influence in the tech and education sectors.
Kazakhstan has surpassed Japan in mobile internet speed, ranking 57th globally in the Speedtest Global Index for December 2024. With a median download speed of 53.76 Mbps, Kazakhstan outpaced Japan’s 53.54 Mbps. The UAE, Qatar, and Kuwait ranked as the top countries for median download speed.
