Bahrain ranked fifth globally for mobile internet speed in 2025, achieving an average download speed of 233.22 Mbps, according to Ookla’s Speedtest Global Index. The result underscores the Kingdom’s strong digital infrastructure investments and its position as a regional leader in connectivity and technological innovation.
Bangladesh has improved its global mobile internet speed ranking, moving up to 88th place in November 2024. The country’s mobile internet download speed increased to 28.26 Mbps, with Banglalink emerging as the fastest provider. Bangladesh also saw progress in fixed broadband performance, rising to 99th globally.
Kuwait secured third place globally and in the Arab world for mobile internet speed, achieving an average speed of 258.51 Mbps, according to the October 2024 Speed Test Global Index. This reflects significant advancements in telecommunications infrastructure, with GCC countries continuing to lead in digital connectivity and innovation.
