Saudi Arabia Mandates USB Type-C Charging Ports for Electronic Devices Starting January 1, 2024
Saudi Arabia has introduced a mandatory USB Type-C charging standard for mobile phones and electronic devices, effective from January 1, 2024. This initiative aims to reduce costs, improve data transfer, and promote sustainability by reducing electronic waste. Laptops will be included in the second phase, starting in 2026.
