Dubai was the focal point for Hewlett Packard Enterprise’s (HPE) annual Distributor Partner Conference (DPC) this week, uniting its worldwide distribution partners. The gathering was an opportunity for partners to absorb insights on the latest in HPE’s product offerings and strategic direction.

At the event, HPE executives, including Neil MacDonald, Phil Mottram, Gilles Thiebaut, and Simon Ewington, outlined the company’s approach towards innovation and partnership. They presented updates on HPE’s partner strategies and a portfolio that spans Hybrid Cloud, Edge, and AI solutions.

The conference, featuring a video address by CEO Antonio Neri, focused on three primary areas: fostering partner innovation and expansion, particularly in AI; driving profitable growth while preserving partners’ margins; and enhancing partners’ experience to ensure ease and efficiency in seizing new opportunities.

The discussions emphasized the importance of partners in HPE’s ecosystem, particularly in innovating and evolving within their business models. The company underscored its commitment to profitable growth through initiatives that reward partner expertise and boost profitability. Moreover, a best-in-class experience for partners is prioritized, focusing on IT stability and consistent ‘Always On’ interactions.

Ahmad Alkhallafi, HPE’s Managing Director for UAE & Africa, highlighted Dubai’s status as a hub of global innovation, expressing pride in hosting the influential conference in the city. The DPC also served as a platform for reinforcing HPE’s dedication to continued investment in its partners.

Updates to the HPE Partner Ready Vantage program were a significant feature of the conference, with details on new Centers of Expertise, evolved competency frameworks, and tools to enhance partner capabilities in delivering customer outcomes.

The DPC in Dubai thus stands as a testament to HPE’s ongoing efforts to equip its partners with the resources and knowledge required to thrive in a rapidly advancing technological landscape.
