State Minister for Telecom and ICT, Zunaid Ahmed Palak, announced today that 5G mobile services will be launched at Terminal 3 of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka this October.
Following the prime minister’s directive, the initial rollout of 5G will focus on airports, seaports, key business districts, and important industrial zones.
Palak made these remarks during a meeting organized by the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) to discuss the service quality of mobile operators. The meeting was held at the BTRC office in Agargaon, Dhaka.
