Zain Bahrain, a leading telecom services operator in the kingdom, has recently partnered with Manama Hub’s ‘Khibra Initiative’ for the first “Meet the Leaders” Mentorship Event.
“Khibra” is an overarching mentorship initiative, encompassing events and programs covering diverse sectors. The initiative aims to provide young individuals with the necessary guidance and support to excel in their careers.
This speed mentoring event provided the youth with opportunities for one-to-one discussions with industry leaders and gain insights from a career planning session delivered by Zain.
As a key partner, Zain Bahrain has played a pivotal role in supporting Manama Hub to host its inaugural event – a speed mentorship event in Zain Bahrain Tower.
This innovative format allowed mentees to engage with multiple mentors, offering a unique opportunity to gain personalized insights from a diverse range of experts. The event featured mentors from 10 industries, including IT, banking, marketing, semi-government, and fintech, with 30 mentors in total, 7 of whom are from Zain.
Fatema Haider, Zain Bahrain Senior Manager of Corporate Sustainability, Inclusivity, and Culture, said: “At Zain Bahrain, we are committed to empowering the next generation of leaders. This collaboration provides innovative opportunities for our employees and young Bahrainis to receive invaluable guidance and support, helping them navigate their careers and achieve their full potential.”
Yara Abdulhameed Shaper from Manama Hub said: “Believing in the transformational power of mentorship, Manama Hub launched Khibra. The initiative aims to connect youth with experienced professionals, to empower them to advance their career.”
“The positive feedback from the participating youth emphasized the need for such programs and we look forward to continuing expanding Khibra’s impact,” he stated.
The ‘Khibra’ initiative is a testament to Zain Bahrain’s unwavering commitment to nurturing the next generation of leaders. Zain Bahrain is deeply committed to equipping and supporting the youth with the skills and knowledge of the future.
