The Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA) has finalized its preparations for GITEX Global 2024, set to be held from October 14 to 18 at the Dubai World Trade Center. Participating through the Digital Government Platform, which includes 37 federal government entities, TDRA will highlight its role in advancing telecommunications and digital government in the UAE.
Visitors to the Digital Government Platform in Sheikh Saeed Hall will experience cutting-edge technologies reflecting TDRA’s vision for the future. The platform will emphasize sustainability by utilizing innovative, eco-friendly solutions like panels made from recycled palm components, replacing traditional wood.
This year’s GITEX Global event will focus on digital technologies shaping the future, and TDRA will demonstrate its commitment to sustainable development and the “We the UAE 2031” vision. By showcasing Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies, TDRA aims to strengthen the UAE’s digital transformation, promote teamwork across government entities, and enhance the nation’s global position in digital innovation.
Among the featured innovations are modern communications technologies like 6G, AI-powered communication systems, and the digital twin platform, which enables real-time simulations of infrastructure and operations. TDRA will also introduce its digital government lab, where visitors can explore emerging technologies and offer feedback on potential government applications.
TDRA continues its role as the supervisory authority for the telecommunications and digital government sectors in the UAE, ensuring distinguished services, fostering human resources development, and encouraging research and development to maintain the UAE’s leadership in the global telecommunications landscape.
