The list, updated yesterday, features 323 licensed individuals and companies, comprising 259 individual drivers and 64 companies operating multiple vehicles. This provides parents with a wide array of options to choose from, ensuring accessibility and convenience.
The Ministry emphasized the importance of selecting licensed transporters to guarantee student safety and protect parents’ rights. This move comes as part of the Ministry’s ongoing efforts to regulate the student transport sector and provide safe and reliable services.

The General Directorate of Traffic has also been actively involved in these efforts, previously calling for verification of driver licenses and emphasizing the importance of student safety. Strict measures will be taken against unlicensed drivers to ensure compliance and maintain high safety standards.
The Ministry also provided information on average transport costs, which range from BD20 to BD40 per month, depending on the distance traveled. This transparent approach helps parents understand the cost implications and make informed choices based on their needs and budget.
