The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has announced that the country’s internet services have been fully restored following months of sluggish connectivity.
A PTA spokesperson informed ProPakistani that the issues affecting the South East Asia-Middle East-Western Europe 4 (SMW4) and Asia-Africa-Europe 1 (AAE-1) submarine cables have been resolved, eliminating the internet slowdown.
“The restoration of both cables has addressed the 1,750 Gbps shortfall, and internet services are now operating at full speed and capacity,” the spokesperson stated.
