Accenture, a global leader in professional services, has announced a strategic collaboration with Google Cloud to accelerate the adoption of cloud solutions and generative AI technologies within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This partnership aims to address local data, operational, and software sovereignty needs while enabling organizations to create new business opportunities and enhance customer experiences. The initiative will focus on establishing a modern digital core and scaling generative AI agents to boost operational efficiency and enterprise intelligence.
A recent report by the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority, in partnership with Accenture, revealed that the widespread adoption of generative AI could potentially increase Saudi Arabia’s GDP by 4%. To seize this opportunity, Accenture and Google Cloud will extend their joint Generative AI Center of Excellence (CoE) to Saudi Arabia, providing organizations with advanced industry solutions, products, and generative AI agents.
This expansion will help transform ideas into actionable results by integrating Google Cloud’s cutting-edge technologies with Accenture’s industry-proven solutions and services, enabling large-scale generative AI projects. Experts from both companies will work closely with clients to identify key use cases and rapidly develop and deploy them, ensuring strategic growth.
Additionally, this collaboration will enable organizations to harness the power of generative AI while ensuring data security and compliance through Google Cloud’s Dammam cloud region.
Dr. Majid Altuwaijri, Accenture’s Kingdom of Saudi Arabia chair and country managing director, emphasized the importance of a modern digital core for organizations looking to remain agile and seize new opportunities.
