SAL Logistics and stc Group Forge Strategic Partnership to Enhance Digital Logistics Operations

SAL Logistics Services has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Saudi Telecom Company (stc) Group, marking a significant step in SAL’s customer-focused strategy to improve logistics operations in Saudi Arabia. The collaboration, announced during the LEAP 2025 event, aims to boost digital solutions and operational efficiency within the logistics sector.

According to Mohammed Al Sheikh, Chief Strategy, Development, and Execution Officer at SAL, the MoU focuses on integrating advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT) into logistics operations. Al Sheikh highlighted that the partnership will enhance the digital capabilities of SAL’s operations by incorporating these innovative solutions into the company’s stations.

The collaboration will also improve the efficiency and quality of logistics services through the development of advanced tracking systems, warehouse automation, and enhanced shipment monitoring. By leveraging AI and IoT technologies, the partnership is set to streamline logistics processes and improve supply chain efficiency.

In addition, the agreement strengthens both companies’ positions in the logistics and telecommunications sectors, supporting Saudi Arabia’s digital transformation goals. The partnership is aligned with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 and the National Transport and Logistics Strategy, which aims to position Saudi Arabia as a global logistics hub.
