Nokia and Orange Jordan Upgrade Broadband Network to Enhance Connectivity and Drive Innovation

Nokia and Orange Jordan have partnered to modernize Orange Jordan’s Broadband Network Gateway (BNG) with Nokia’s advanced 7750 Service Router (SR) platforms. This upgrade, covering 76 sites across Jordan, aims to enhance broadband services, improve connectivity, and support the country’s digital transformation.

The deployment of the new infrastructure is designed to meet growing subscriber demands for high-speed internet, IPTV, and personalized broadband services. Additionally, it aims to optimize energy consumption and reduce operational costs, contributing to sustainability goals. By upgrading its network, Orange Jordan is positioning itself to provide superior broadband services across the Kingdom.

Waleed Al Doulat, Chief ITN & Wholesale Officer at Orange Jordan, emphasized that the upgrade reflects the company’s commitment to delivering the best broadband services. He added that Nokia’s technology enhances network efficiency, enriching customers’ digital experiences and aligning with the company’s growth and sustainability objectives.
