Fawry Acquires Majority Stakes in Three Egyptian Tech Companies to Expand Digital Solutions

Fawry, Egypt’s leading digital payments provider, has invested EGP 80 million (USD 1.6 million) to acquire majority stakes in three Egyptian tech companies—Dirac Systems, Virtual CFO, and Code Zone. This strategic move aims to strengthen Fawry’s “Fawry Business” platform by integrating advanced ERP, financial management, and digital payment solutions.

Fawry now holds 51% of Dirac Systems, 56.6% of Virtual CFO, and 51% of Code Zone. Dirac Systems specializes in ERP and business automation solutions, Virtual CFO supports SMEs and startups with financial tools, and Code Zone develops business management software, with a focus on healthcare.

Ashraf Sabry, CEO of Fawry, emphasized that these acquisitions solidify Fawry’s position as a one-stop provider of digital business solutions, combining fintech innovations with ERP systems to serve SMEs and large enterprises. The CEOs of Dirac Systems, Virtual CFO, and Code Zone expressed confidence that the partnership would boost business efficiency, expand ERP adoption, and drive digital innovation.

This investment supports Egypt’s shift toward a cashless economy and enhances Fawry’s role in the country’s fintech and business automation landscape.
