ITL Embraces RISE with SAP for Digital Transformation in Textile Manufacturing

International Textile Limited (ITL), one of Pakistan’s largest towel manufacturers and exporters, is modernizing its operations by adopting RISE with SAP, a cloud-based Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution. This shift is set to enhance operational efficiency, provide real-time insights, and support future advancements in AI and sustainability.

Saquib Ahmad, Managing Director of SAP for Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iraq, and Bahrain, stated, “ITL’s adoption of RISE with SAP represents a significant step in the digital transformation of Pakistan’s textile sector. By leveraging our cloud-based ERP solutions, ITL will improve operational agility, scalability, and overall efficiency. We are pleased to assist ITL in achieving its business goals with cutting-edge technology.”

For over a decade, ITL has been using SAP’s on-premises ERP Central Component (ECC) system. In order to stay competitive in the rapidly evolving textile industry, the company recognized the need for a scalable, integrated system. The implementation of RISE with SAP will streamline processes, optimize decision-making, and improve visibility across departments.

“We needed a solution that would offer seamless integration, enhance reporting capabilities, and improve user experience,” said Asghar Ali Khan, Chief Operating Officer of ITL. “RISE with SAP’s cloud-based infrastructure aligns perfectly with our long-term vision, enabling us to respond more effectively to market demands.”

The textile sector is Pakistan’s largest export contributor, with the US being its top market. By adopting RISE with SAP, ITL aims to strengthen its competitive position in the industry. The transformation is expected to bring benefits such as improved automation, scalability, real-time analytics, AI-powered insights, and a focus on sustainability, furthering ITL’s commitment to responsible business practices.
