Oman’s Ministry of Information launched “Ayn for Children,” a new media platform designed to enrich child-focused content. The platform, introduced at the 29th Muscat International Book Fair, aims to provide educational, entertainment, and cultural resources for children aged 4 to 18, reflecting Omani values and national identity.
The platform offers a wide range of age-appropriate content, including cartoons, programs, audiobooks, and more. It features a child-friendly interface with personalized accounts, accessibility for children with visual or hearing impairments, and an extensive library of over 65,000 items. Ayn for Children also supports young content creators by showcasing their work.
The platform is available globally and is designed for various devices, including mobile phones, smart TVs, and tablets. It also includes exclusive content and tools like offline downloads, advanced search, and a resume-play feature. The Ministry aims to foster a future-ready generation while strengthening the connection between children and modern technology.
