Orange Jordan has announced a strategic collaboration with IRIS International Sports Academy to nurture and unlock young talent via sponsorship of the Iker Casillas Challenge. The Challenge unfolded in three stages: first, Jordanian football legends scouted talents aged 10 to 12 across key cities including Irbid, Zarqa, Karak, Ma’an, Tafilah, Aqaba, and Amman. The shortlisted talents then received a unique assessment from world champion Iker Casillas himself. The final stage will see the selected team traveling to Spain for further development.
Highlighting the vital role of sports and positivity in youth development, Orange Jordan stressed that these elements are essential for young people to explore their identities and maximize their potential from an early age. The company also noted the rapid growth of Jordan’s sports sector and reaffirmed its commitment to supporting initiatives that identify and nurture talents who can proudly represent the kingdom on the international stage.
This initiative complements Orange Jordan’s ongoing “The Positive Gang” anti-cyberbullying campaign, launched in 2024 to promote a healthy digital culture. Demonstrating its role as a Responsible Digital Leader, Orange aims to empower youth aged 12 to 28, along with parents, educators, and influencers, to foster safe and positive online interactions. This effort is part of the broader “For Good Connections” program by the Orange Group, dedicated to creating a secure and constructive digital environment for all users.
