Rabat — Morocco’s Ministry of National Education has partnered with Fondation Al Mada to extend digital tools and training to hundreds of rural schools nationwide. The agreement, signed in Fqih Ben Salah by Minister Mohamed Saad Berrada and Fondation Al Mada President Hassan Ouriagli, marks a major expansion of the “Connected Classrooms – Dir Iddik” initiative.
Launched in 2024, the project aims to promote educational equity and innovation by providing underserved rural students with access to modern digital learning resources. Initially benefiting 30 schools across six regions and over 12,000 students, the initiative’s second phase significantly increases its reach, doubling the target number of schools.
This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to ensuring that children in remote areas have equal opportunities to benefit from 21st-century education technologies.
