Technopark Morocco (MITC) and Plug and Play Africa have signed a strategic partnership to accelerate the growth of Morocco’s startup ecosystem, marking a pivotal step toward enhancing innovation and entrepreneurial development nationally and regionally.
The signing ceremony, attended by Amal El Fallah-Seghrouchni, Minister of Digital Transition and Administration Reform, highlighted strong government support for advancing digital transformation and startup enablement in Morocco.
Lamiae Benmakhlouf, General Director of Technopark Morocco, and Aziz El Hachem, Co-Director for Africa at Plug and Play Tech Center, formalized the partnership, which also launches a three-month acceleration program. This initiative offers promising startups access to global networks, expert mentorship, and funding opportunities.
The collaboration aims to foster a vibrant, competitive entrepreneurial ecosystem in line with Morocco’s strategic vision for digital innovation and economic resilience.
