Bangladesh’s Consumer Rights Directorate Launches ‘Bazardor’ Android App to Monitor Market Prices

The Directorate of National Consumer Rights Protection launched a new Android mobile application called ‘Bazardor’ on Monday, aimed at informing consumers about fluctuating market prices of essential commodities. The app was inaugurated by Mohammad Alim Akhter Khan, Director General of the directorate, during a ceremony held at the directorate’s conference room.

The launch event was attended by key officials including Abdul Jalil, Director of Administration and Finance; Mohammad Azizul Islam, Director of Allegations and Investigation; Fakir Mohammad Monowar Hossain, Director of Activities and Laboratory; and Md Sakhawat Hossain, Principal of Daffodil Institute of IT.

The ‘Bazardor’ app seeks to empower consumers by providing real-time market price information, helping them make informed purchasing decisions amid changing commodity prices.
