The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing in Saudi Arabia has introduced the Unified Objections Platform, enabling electronic submission and processing of objections related to municipal violations, fines, and procedures. This new digital service eliminates the need for in-person visits to municipal offices and aims to streamline processes while enhancing user experience.
Objections submitted through the platform or the “Balady” mobile app will be reviewed within 15 days. Users can track the real-time status of their submissions via balady.gov.sa.
The platform is accessible to citizens, residents (property owners and tenants), commercial entities, real estate developers, and others affected by municipal penalties. It operates under unified procedures developed by relevant regulatory authorities.
This initiative supports the ministry’s commitment to fairness, transparency, and swift resolution of public complaints, and is part of a broader strategy to standardize oversight, improve legislative frameworks, and advance digital governance in Saudi Arabia.
