TRA Reaffirms Commitment to Youth Empowerment Through Sponsorship of Youth City 2030

The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) has concluded its sponsorship of Youth City 2030, organized by Bahrain’s Ministry of Youth and Sports Affairs, reaffirming its dedication to equipping young Bahrainis with critical skills in creativity, media, and technology.

As part of this year’s sponsorship, TRA supported specialized training programs that enhanced the digital and creative capabilities of participants. These initiatives provided practical knowledge, boosted confidence, and allowed youth to showcase impactful content that contributed to both their personal growth and professional readiness.

Philip Marnick, General Director of the TRA, emphasized that preparing young Bahrainis for the digital economy is a national priority. He noted that by supporting Youth City 2030 courses, TRA is helping youth improve digital skills, creativity, and leadership capabilities to shape the Kingdom’s digital future.

Echoing this, Taiba AlBinali, Manager of Communications at TRA, said the engagement went beyond sponsorship, offering youth a real platform to turn creativity into meaningful outcomes. She highlighted the exceptional results achieved by participants, reinforcing the vast potential of Bahrain’s youth.

Youth City 2030 remains one of Bahrain’s leading youth development platforms, advancing innovation, leadership, and practical skills. TRA’s continued involvement reflects its role as both a national enabler of digital transformation and a key partner in empowering the next generation.
