CASHPLUS, a leading Moroccan fintech, has partnered with PayPal to introduce instant digital withdrawals for Moroccan users. For the first time, PayPal balances can now be withdrawn directly in Moroccan Dirhams (MAD) through the CASHPLUS Mobile app, eliminating the need for branch visits, paperwork, or third-party intermediaries.
This makes CASHPLUS the only provider in Morocco offering digital PayPal withdrawals, giving freelancers, entrepreneurs, content creators, and e-commerce sellers seamless access to their funds. The feature supports Morocco’s rapidly growing digital economy, where over 18 million internet users and expanding online markets are fueling demand for fast, secure financial solutions.
PayPal executives highlighted that the partnership aligns with its digital-first vision, offering users an all-in-one wallet experience to manage local and international finances. CASHPLUS Group President Nabil Amar called the collaboration a milestone in democratizing access to global financial services, enabling Morocco’s digital workforce to enjoy autonomy, speed, and convenience.
With Morocco’s digital payments market projected to more than double from USD $14.29 billion in 2025 to over $35 billion by 2030, this partnership also supports the country’s National Financial Inclusion Strategy, which aims to bring 75% of adults into the formal financial system by the end of the decade.
